It's about time!

I have a dark secret to admit: I haven't painted my toenails since October of 2007!  Yup, that's right...6 months without new paint...a whole half a year!!  So in the months following October, the cute little Halloween themed pedicure I'd gotten slowly peeled off into oblivion.  The skull and crossbones were still present for Christmas (that's mildly morbid, now that I think about it), but come February I took initiative and scraped'em off..leaving just smudges of orange (I'm surprised the polish lasted as long as it did..tough stuff!)  And that, too, finally got clipped off.  So, see, I didn't neglect my foot hygiene..they still looked presentable, if not mildly knobby (I'm a little concerned I have Hobbit-esque foot tendencies, even though I know it's probably because of my running shoes).  Every once in a while I'd look down at my nekked toenails and think 'gee, my feet would be much sexier with some paint on'em'  but that's as far as it would get.  Then yesterday I realized I'm going on vacation to a sunny, beach-y place..and wouldn't it be nice if my feet looked festive?  I raced upstairs to dig out my nail polishes...but they'd all dried up and seperated!  NO!!  So today I was a women a mission: NAIL POLISH!  My sole purpose in going to Target was to find a cute color.  Granted, I also came away with new mascara, cheap sunglasses, a blue shower pouf....haha :)  But I also got nail polish: Speedy Hot Tamale! (the name just SOUNDS sassy!)  And as proof (because most of you will never see my toes) I took a pic!  (and just so you all know, that smudge on the 2nd toe of my left foot isn't paint..it's a scab from when I dropped a glass pan on my foot earlier this week.)
